Elon Musk: 84 hours a week!

When you work under Elon Musk…
you might as well forget about your personal life. Having been at the helm of Twitter for just a few days, the businessman is already shaking things up at the social media platform.
Starting this Friday, November 4, half of the 7,500 employees are expected to be laid off… and for the remaining 50%, who will learn the news via an email sent to their work inboxes, their hopes will likely be dashed quickly.
The CEO plans to have Twitter employees work 84 hours a week—that’s 12 hours a day, seven days a week.

"The icing on the cake"
: Overtime will not be paid—for now.
Staying with the company feels like a real poisoned chalice, even if this drastic measure comes as no surprise from Elon Musk: in a 2018 interview, the CEO stated that all Tesla employees worked “100-hour weeks”—the businessman sets (too) high goals! Twitter executives reviewed employee performance, with some of them having slept in their offices last week…
