Sabbatical leave isn't just appealing to young employees!

Taking a break after experiencing burnout, or wanting to slow down before retirement

Some of those over 30 who take a sabbatical are experienced professionals who want to take a break from their daily work routine for several weeks; others are older workers seeking a change of pace, including people nearing retirement who want to take a long vacation to explore the world

Employers are increasingly adapting to these new preferences

A trend is emerging among certain companies, which are beginning to offer flexible sabbaticals to their employees. This particularly attractive program allows employees to take a break lasting three to twelve months while continuing to receive 70% of their previous salary. The typical profile of candidates for this leave is an average age of 48 and more than 20 years of service with the company.
