54% say they feel comfortable discussing their salary at work—a result of the increasing demand for transparency from companies. This slim majority contrasts with the results from 2019, when the figure stood at just 17%.
A general trend
: When it comes to politics, 55% prefer not to discuss the topic—a slight decrease from 61% in 2019 Religion follows more or less the same trend: 47% of employees could discuss it without any real discomfort, compared to 42% in 2019. The distribution of tasks and workload within teams is also a factor (26% of participants view this as a source of tension), on par with instances of a manager showing favoritism toward certain colleagues
Competence and honesty above all else
Who is the ideal coworker?
34% cited honesty, reliability, positivity, empathy, team spirit, a sense of humor, and, finally, open-mindedness 69% prefer regular and spontaneous feedback rather than feedback upon request

A professional must remain professional
: 62% are open to an after-work get-together if invited, but 57% admit they never see their coworkers outside of work. When it comes to social media, boundaries are just as strictly maintained: 54% of those surveyed don’t have any coworkers among their followers… and even fewer have their manager—81% of respondents haven’t added their manager!
